Testing at most beaches was postponed this week as high winds prevented the <br  />
helicopter from flying.<br  /><br  />

As a general rule, we advise you not to swim within 48 hours of heavy rain and <br  />
to stay away from stormwater outlets. Before you dip, please call 0800 <br  />
SAFESWIM (0800 723379).<br  />
